Gutenvox is built as a local reading and listening app for public-domain books. We do not sell your personal information, track you across apps or websites, or use third-party advertising SDKs.
Information We Collect
Gutenvox does not require an account for reading public-domain books. The app may store reading preferences, saved-book state, playback settings, subscription entitlement state, and similar app settings on your device.
If you email support, you may choose to share your email address, device model, iOS version, app version, and a description of the issue so we can respond.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. Gutenvox receives purchase status needed to unlock paid features, but payment details are handled by Apple.
Public-Domain Book Sources
When you search, browse, or download public-domain books, the app may contact external public-domain catalog and file hosts such as Project Gutenberg. Those services may process requests according to their own policies.
Diagnostics
Release builds should not expose development diagnostics in the app UI. If future builds add crash reporting or analytics, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures must be updated before release.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party advertising tracking. We may disclose information if required by law or to operate App Store purchases through Apple.
Children
Gutenvox is not directed to children under 13. The app focuses on public-domain books and reader/listening tools.
